Alberta’s Minimum Wage to Increase to $9.40 on September 1, 2011
Alberta (June 02, 2011) - Shelfspace, in partnership with the Retail Council of Canada, would like to advise you that on September 1, 2011, Alberta’s minimum wage will increase 60 cents, from $8.80 to $9.40 an hour. In addition, a new minimum wage of $9.05 per hour will be introduced for workers who serve alcohol as part of their regular job, recognizing that these employees also earn tips.
