Retailers are constantly being affected by new and changing policies. As Western Canada's retail trade association, Shelfspace continuously receives feedback from our community with regard to these issues.
Shelfspace crafts these positions and advocates for retailers on a variety of legislative, regulatory and fiscal policy concerns. As part of our mandate, we meet regularly with elected representatives and government officials to foster an awareness of how these issues affect our members' businesses and the economy as a whole. By raising awareness of these concerns and proposing constructive solutions, it is our hope that we can create a stronger and more positive economic climate for all of Western Canada. Membership dues support Shelfspace's advocacy efforts, enhance our educational products and services and grow our high-calibre programs and services.
